SK-II

Creation of SK-II products were inspired by the smooth and youthful hands of the elderly ladies at a sake brewery in Japan. Scientists were surprised by their wrinkled faces but soft and youthful hands. They realized that it was due to their constant contact with the sake fermentation process. The scientists extracted the miracle ingredient, Pitera, from the yeast fermentation process. SK-II products contain Pitera, vitamins, amino acids, proteins and organic acids to help enhance skin surface renewal process.One famous SK-II product is SK-II Facial Treatment Essence which is sometimes referred as "miracle water". It contains over 90% Pitera, helps restore skin’s natural renewal cycle and moisturizes oil and dry areas.
